Viola ! I literally created/invented this dish all by myself ! Hahaha. So I am really so proud of it and of course, I won the fucking bragging rights, yo ! Hahaha. So here it is, Vitz's stuff squid and chicken cutlet.
Minced chicken
Squid. Trust me ah, it was literally my first time trying out a squid dish. I have never used squid for any of my dishes and it was really so hard to clean the squid - especially when I wanted to retain the squid tubes.
Squid tubes ! My hardwork sial. Mom was standing beside me as I started cleaning the first squid and she went like "you're hopeless. Come let me help you" and I actually chased her away because I wanted it to be my own work alone and didn't want any assistance :P ! But seriously, the innards really made me feel disgusted. The first squid that I "worked" on actually ate a small fish and that fish was like stuck in its stomach. I swear it was really disgusting !
The ingredients (the chopped garlic bits were for my garlic butter sauce).
Pound pound pound.
Remove the pounded ingredients.
Add it to the minced chicken.
Add in turmeric powder and soya sauce. And you MIX it well.
Ta-da.
Stuff them into the squid tubes like this. I made some cuts on the squid tubes because I wanted the stuffings to cook well. But as you can see, I accidentally made a deeper cut into one of the squid tubes. Tsk :(
I used toothpicks to seal the top.
I still had some remaining stuffings and my quick-thinking brain worked equally as fast and I decided to make chicken cutlet from the remaining stuffings. So I added egg.
I had to do the garlic butter sauce first.
Yeap.
When you're done with the garlic butter sauce, you gotta wash the frying pan real well. Then switch on the stove and pour some OLIVE oil.
