Introducing MR and Mrs RAM .

Yesterday , they got married at The Arches . As this is the first wedding in my family , I was pretty excited . My lovely cousin is now known as Mrs Ram . Isn't that just as cool ? . I was wearing a gagara ( something that I don't normally wear ) . I shall upload the pictures soon . So yeah . Anyways , my cousin was looking gorgeous - she looked just like a princess from the fairy tales . Ram looked hunky . In short , both of those looked diabolically great . Made for each other -- a little cliche ( i know ) but there's no other sublime descriptive word to describe their compatibility .

Anyways , Merry Christmas to all . Looking forward to the outing with my fellow friends . I've been busy for quite some time that I feel guilty for not spending quality time with them . So yeah . New Year is around the corner as well . Wooo !

Mr Tan Chweeb Bock promised me that 2006 will be a wonderful year for me . Well , I admit that I was feeling rather skeptical about it . But yeah , it turned out to be true ! . Kudos to Mr Tan . It was certainly a happy year for me . Dreams came true , new yet strong relationships were forged ... basically , I love this year . I hope 2007 can be like a lead up to this .

I so want to obtain good results again . On the 6th of Jan , I'll be receiving my bursary award at the BP CC . The best of all , I'll be getting it from my mentor , MP Dr Teo . I'm planning to invite my close friends and family members to grace and witness this occasion . To me , it's great achievement . It certainly wasn't easy to comeback after receiving a barrage of criticism . But yes ,

" Winners never quit and quitters never win " .

Anyways , This is quite random . I think , I'm starting to adore and idolise the great Leonardo Da Vinci . He is definitely the epitome of a polymath - a true Renaissance man . Who can excel at so many things and even have an encyclopaedic knowledge ? . He was an architect, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, inventor, mathematician, musician, and painter . * Breathtaking * . I love his works too . To me , the painting of Mona Lisa is a rare gift . Need I say more ? - It is the world's most valuable painting ! . The painting invokes subtle yet strong emotions in the viewer . I just believe that there is something mysterious about her smile . Some secret that Leonardo wanted to tell the whole world .
Leonardo Da Vinci was a man of high integrity and he was extremely sensitive to moral issues . He even became a vegetarian due to the respect he had for life . Isn't that great ? .

Anyways , unknown to many ( not all ) , he was known to have followed the unusual regime of polyphasic sleep . Well , maybe we should all try doing this as it allows us to fully experience having 24 hours in a day .

- The polyphasic sleep pattern is also known as Da Vinci Sleep or Uberman Sleep .
- it is mend to reduce sleep time to 2-5 hours daily
- you do this by taking short naps of around 20-45 minutes throughout the day .

The process of adapting to a polyphasic schedule involves a physically very difficult one- to two-week transition period. By the way , those who tested this sleep pattern had NO apparent drop of cognition or alertness despite the few hours of sleep attained . Great eh ? .

Sometimes , we just have to break the wall of conventionalism . We have to be unconventional . Only then can we experience the beauty of this world . Because it is all up to us to make decisions and live . So we shouldn't be tied down by conventional ideologies . Because --

And Yes , I'm planning to adopt the polyphasic sleep pattern soon and become a full-fledge ambidextrous person . It can be fun . I assure =) .

Anyways , I hope War will end soon . I just hate it when some countries in the world is being enveloped in war . When can this end ? . The world population will decimate at a disastrous rate if war were to persist . Why don't Man learn from the past ? . We've got many history books . Maybe we should read up on it . Why do we even have the penchant for revenge and blood ? . Even Vampires don't hurt as much as we humans do . Maybe , war will end when all of us , yes , each and everyone of us go on a rampage and convert the whole world into a battlefield and kill everyone else . Let the dinosaurs rule the world man . We have a great responsibility lying on our fragile shoulders . Let's pledge to abstain from avenging , war , fights , blood and everything else that leads to war .
" With power comes great responsibility " .. The same proverbial line from the comic that encapsulate the true meaning of everything that I underlined .

The clock takes life away -- so unreal ! . Hmm time seem to fly by . The seeming ( and yet to be acknowledged ) intractability of the latter's existence , prove too much to be true . Ha .. so we must truly live life to the fullest . Well , on the other hand , my attempts might be futile when quite a handful out there maintain an intransigent position with respects to this matter .

Alright Alright . This is MY point of view afterall .

My Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 06 went well . I was not so keen to run the half marathon ( 21 KM ) . I did not even train for it . So yeah . I remained highly skeptical about the whole race with respects to my abilities and capabilities . Anyways , I reported late to the venue and had a late start . All the people who ran 21 KM started at 6.30 am and I started it at 7 am . I ran with a nice stranger . Although I don't know him , I owe him a big thanks for running with me . I was running non-stop for 13 KM -- a task which look so herculean in nature especially when I didn't train a single bit . After that , my flaccid legs were of no match to him and I couldn't stand the excruciating pain on my injured knee that I stopped running . So as expected , I lost him . I started to walk with Nimalen . After the run , I went to have lunch with Nimalen , Theba and Gwen . Nimalen and Theba left first . So Gwen and I did a little window-shopping and left home . Actually I feel sad when I think about the fact that I didn't thank that stranger . Man... this sucks . Such a nice stranger . THANKS MAN . * oh , before I forget , there has been an exponential increase in the number of participants who signed up for the marathon this year . Isn't this great ? *

Oh yes . I caught Dhoom 2 and Eragon .

I am completely in love with my Hrithik Roshan . He is a real package and certainly a complete actor . Although I do share distinctly heterodox views on certain stuff , this one fact has such a palpable effect that I cannot deny it's validity . Woooo . His dance moves were simply too awesome . Simply mindblowing . He was sizzling hot ! . Man , must he really be married .... *sigh* .

I caught Eragon just a while ago . Met Pravin , Meng Hong and Izzah ( C2 ) . We decided to catch the 210 show but since I reached there late due to some unavoidable circumstances , we decided to catch the next show which was at 350pm . So , we decided to have our lunch at Banquet . Izzah and I ate Ban Mian while Pravin had Hot plate prawns . The great Meng Hong was on diet so he just had a plateful of fries . After that , we rushed to the cinema to buy Shafie another ticket . Soon we caught the movie . Izzah was drooling over Edward Speleers . She found him too hot . She even said that his lips were extremely kissable . Actually he is hot . I like his boyish smile , his hot bod and his dark and mysterious eyes . Actually , he should've acted in Harry Potter as Cedric Diggory ( not that I want him to die , but Ed is cuter than Robert Pattinson ) . I so want to have a pet dragon -- as witty as Saphira . " As darkness falls, the last dragon will choose its rider " . Maybe , I should invest some money on Eragon and Eldest . I need to buy Mitch Albom's books too .

I'm soooo gonna miss 06C2 . When we perform for Teacher's Day next year , we'll definitely name ourselves " 06C2 " . Izzah , Meng Hong , Pravin and I were lamenting about it throughout the day . Damn laa .

My cousin's ROM will be held on Saturday . I'm looking forward to it . I hope I can capture lotsa shots of my cousin and her hubby . When I get all those moments captured in photographs , I'll upload them into my blog . Soo excited !

I'm suddenly so in love with Siberian Huskies ( courtesy of Darren Tan aka Charles Banana ) . Hmm , if this persist , my undying love for Yorkshire Terrier might fade *sad* . Pravin said that Yorkshire Terriers are not so attractive . Anyways , I want Siberian Husky and Yorkshire Terrier . Wow . Dogs are so adorable . I just love doing shelving at the back ( Borders ) . All the books on dogs are lying there . Whenever I do shelving at the back , I get momentary enjoyment and sublime satisfaction from browsing through the dog books . Darren also enjoy doing that . I normally ask him for tips on dogs and we end up sharing some comment on other breeds . Haha , I am just so glad that he finds Puli disgusting . Haha .

Alright peeps . I have to go and have some rest now as I'm scheduled to start work at 7am tomorrow . No more night shifts already . Haha . So I'm simply FREE !! .

My absence from the blogging world is a true testament to my busy life . Man . Yesterday was the last day of my night shift . I'll be working day shift from Monday onwards . Yeap . Anyways , I hope you guys will like my new blog skin . Apparently the previous one got damaged . I wonder why ... * hmmm * .
