* My fave anime - Slam Dunk .

I dearly miss my favourite Japanese animation . I just cannot fathom why I feel so in love with the animation . Perhaps due to the fact that I can relate well to the player's emotions . It used to give me the sudden adrenaline rush through my veins when Rukawa dribbled past those players . I don't know why , but I had wished and still wish that Rukawa was not a virtual person . ( I know that there is a dichotomy between the virtual and real world ). I used to have a HUGE crush on him for many years ... Oh well .. I still do . The best thing is , he has the same jersey number as I do .. :)

Before I begin , I was really too ashamed to go for the match . The reason was , I did not train myself . In fact , my stamina suck now ! . I didn't want to meet those people when I am / was not at my best .

MJC threw down the gauntlet and we had no choice but to accept the challenge . A friendly challenge in fact . I happen to be in the third line with 2 most ******* players ( I am not going to mention names -- like what Annas said , no use talking about them ) . I didn't enjoy playing the match when I was in the third line .

The match ended with the scoreline of 7-5 ( MI won ) . After that , MJC and MI combined to form a Just-the-year-ones-only team . We splited up into 2 groups . I was in the team with 3 MJC players . My friend Lisa ( MJC ) was playing for the other team . Ok , I had Daryl (MJC ) in my team !! Well , honestly , I like the way he is . He really shows those gentlemanly mannerisms .
Although there was a sword of Damocles hanging over my head ( my knee injury ) , I enjoyed playing with them . In fact , I scored a goal :D . Hmm .. I was really happy .

After playing , the usual threesome ( Annas , Raj and I ) went to our fave hangout after floorball trainings --- Paya Lebar Long John's Silver . After eating , we started talking about A LOT of stuff . Those 2 guys started to manipulate me to transfer to the Bartley Campus . Well , I wish I was there . Like what I have been saying , I find the MI ( Bartley campus ) peeps really warm . Hehe , in the end , they both gave me lots of tips to be early for school !! HEHE . Man .. I enjoyed yesterday .. I really did !!

PS : Lisa ( MJC ) is really a nice person . She exchanged number with me so that I can arrange the girls ( MI ) to train with their girls .

* The debate over Humanity & Law . *

Before I begin , the rationale behind my entry on the above-mentioned subject is truly dedicated to my point of view . It is definitely not to boycott anyone or any anti-government organisations .

I am referring to the article by Ken Kwek " The death penalty - Reassess , not abolish " ( ST 30 Nov ) .

I truly believe that our government have to reassess it's policy on death penalty . I do understand that our government's point of view is rationalist . However , I believe that Nguyen Tuong Van should not be sentenced to death . A jail term for his crime is justifiable .

The human rights activist put forward their argument by saying that execution is a form of state-sanctioned barbarism tantamount to torture - it has no place in a civilised democracy . However, those rationalist especially Singaporean officials and citizens believe that capital punishment is the call for an overhaul of one of Singapore's most critical social and legal imperatives : Keeping the country free of drugs .

It is highly notable that the solution to this problem lie in the hands of anti-death penalty advocates . The writer mentioned that the latter have to take a " more tempered and targeted approach " . Once again , it prompts me to ask myself if Singapore gives the public the chance to express themselves -- What we call ' The freedom of Speech ' . When I watched the Exorcism of Emily Rose , I can't help it but salute their way of ruling - ie , Having a jury to give the verdict . In this way , the public's view is much respected .

Honestly , the degree of crime must be analysed even further . I don't see why a death penalty should be given to crimes like drug trafficking . It is justifiable if the crime is a murder , mass killing , terrorism attack and etc . But having found with the over the limit amount of drugs with an individual and instantly having the death penalty posed at him seems to be unjust . I was upset when I read about the Singaporean drug courier Shanmugam Murugesu . Despite the call for forgiveness and having been put through the president's clemency , he was sentenced to death . His 14-year-old twin soons were orphaned .

Perhaps , it is rightful if the government starts to reassess it's policy ( on the punishments ) . Thus , then we would be on the threshold of new policies that do the least to raise objection from the public , devoiding us from revolving around the intricate web of humanity and law .

To those who wish to criticise or support my view are free to do so . Because critics and the prophets of doom help in the making of a heated argument :p .

Ok . It's been a long time since I blogged . Hmm , what's keeping me busy all these days ? . The answer is , I am burning my ass off by working in the MacDonalds . Man . It ain't easy working in MacDonalds . I'm beginning to be like an abstemious person . Perhaps more like it , when I have to resist teenage temptations . It was the choice I made , So I've got to live with it . However , I'll just try to hint a couple of " food for the brain " to those who aspire to work in fast food outlets . I can't help it but realise that there is a dichotomy between what we think and put forward to try out . Well I used to think that working in a fast food outlet was OK . But I have to eat my words now ! .

I was put through many tests by God .. Hmm something like a trial to manage my anger I suppose ?! . I met greedy customers , slutty customers , vain customers and the list goes on ... . There's this guy , who works as a cleaner in the plaza who unfortunately happens to be a regular customer to our outlet . He ALWAYS orders a 50-cent coffee and as he have problems managing his greed or gluttony , asks us for 7 jams and 7 magarines ( FOR WHAT ?? ) . My colleagues prognosticated that he might have been eating those FOC jams and margarines with self-purchased bread ?! ( Who knows , it might be true )

However , if I were to completely say that working in a fast food outlet is indeed boring , I am considered to be a great liar . Although it's a tough job , I enjoy every minute working there - plainly because of my new found friends . I made friends with everyone down there .. people from all walks of life . 3/4 of those working there are from Malaysia , so I enjoy speaking in broken melayu with them .. and etc . There are 3 people whom I want to talk about . They are Diki , Jocelyn and Rajes .

Diki ( I don't know his full name yet )
He is definitely blessed with patience . I've never seen him getting angry . He is also such a polite man . His gentlemanly mannerism instantly prompted me to call him " abang " . He is 30 and is from Indonesia . We get along very well . He really lives up to the name I affectionately call him . ( To the non-malays ---> abang means brother in melayu . ) He shares with me his troubles , thoughts and fears . I really respect my " Abang " . Oh yea .. Diki is married and has a 6 year old daughter ... WOW .. so cute !!

Jocelyn
Ok . She's really a very special person people . She is deaf and dumb . However she is one of the crew member who works soo hard !! It is really impossible to believe that she's handicap . When i first met her , I thought she was arrogant due to the reason that she did not reply when I said " hello " to her . When I know the real reason , I started to respect her . In fact she also helps me out when I need help ( without me calling out for help ) . We smile at each other before starting work and she uses hand gestures to communicate with me .

Rajes
She's definitely one hell of a person !! . Haha . Hilarious and more like a mother-figure there !! . Along with Letchumy , she can make me laugh my ass off !! She dares to openly compliment her customers .. She is really a hilarious person . Man .. I enjoy working with the morning crew when we crap about our customers and laugh behind their back !! MAN !!! Btw , both of them are 26 . Rajes is married and has a kid while Letchumy is still single . Both of them are malaysians .

Honestly working in MacDonalds is helping me to foster a stronger sense of camaraderie . Haha .. through the tests , I'll manage to eradicate my short-temper .

Ok . Now coming back to the subject of Harry Potter . WOW!! I managed to catch the movie on Tues with He Shun , Silas and Uma . We were supposed to go to town to watch it but all the tickets were sold out . So we rushed down to causeway point . Reached there at 3.30 pm , wanted to buy the 4 pm slot tickets . But to our dismay , the tickets were sold out . The other slot , 5 pm was filling up fast . So when we wanted to purchase the tickets , the counter woman told us that the seats were scattered !!! Only 2 seats were together and the other 2 scattered !!
Left with no choice , ( Erm .. Being the leader of Screaming Heads ) , I asked He shun and Uma to take the 2 seats that were beside each other while Silas and I take the scattered seats .

But my plan at this moment was to sit on the stairs to watch the movie ... So we were all happy with the plan . My heart sank when we entered the theatre . There was no stairs !! So our plan was foiled ! He Shun and Uma sat in their seat while Silas and I took a risk by seating in someone else's seats ( we were sitting beside each other -- not our original scattered seats ) . Throughout the movie , the original people , who were supposed to occupy the seats were not present !! . HAHA ... Talk about the luck we had that day .

However , Silas and I vowed to watch the movie again ... this time with the rest of the Screaming Heads !! 19 of us in total !! I still can remember the incident when once my Screaming Heads and I occupied the whole of the last 2 rows while watching THE VILLAGE .

Oh yeah , before I hit my sack , Emma Watson Aka Hermione Granger is super hot !! WOW !! I've never seen such a beautiful woman in my life ( maybe I'm exaggerating ) . But hell yeah !! I think she's freaking hot ! WOW ... Honestly my heart melted when I saw her face in the scene when she was all dressed up for the Yule Ball .. coming down the stairs like a Princess , smiling elegantly !! WOW !! That dress really suited her .. that hairdo .. she really looks HOT !! SMOKING HOT ! Bridget Tan Zy thinks that I am showing lesbian tendancies . I ain't too sure about that .. * Just Joking la * But I seriously won't mind complimenting a lot on Hermione even if silly people like her thinks otherwise :p . Basically , I won't stop drooling over Hermione's images in Yahoo Images or Google Images . I can't wait for her and Rupert Grint to smooch on-screen ... :'( .. Wooo ..

I take great pleasure now , in telling my frens and those who read my blog that I have started working . It's my first time working . I am working in Macdonalds @ Lucky Plaza ( Orchard ) . Tomorrow , my official timing is 8am to 4 pm .

Ok . Besides that happy news , I am totally upset over the death of WWE star Eddie Guerrero . I am really shocked . He was a good wrestler , good at technical moves . I cannot digest the fact that a wonderful man like him , can die at 38 . He managed to overcome his drug habits and now to be wipe off from the face of earth . Images of him keeps coming before me . I used to envy his latina style . Life is really unpredictable . All I can say is , we must treasure our loved ones .

Dear Eddie ,
You truly stand as a hero . It's not easy to break free from those addictions .
You beat it for your family and career . You managed to crash the stereotyped image of addiction . When many thought that addiction is permanently rooted in an individual , your successful career and drug-free life served as a platform of hope to them .

I happen to come across a wonderful line from Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets .

Wonderfully said Dumbledore . That dialogue really got me thinking . I am so amazed to realise the true essence of that particular quote - ( as i intend to call it ) . Choices determines out altitude , attitude , aptitude ( when talent is gone by not practising ) , and many other thing .
When we make a good choice , life is brighten . When we make a bad choice , life is bleak .
We are all created by God . Choices were left to be made by us . Let's vow to make a good choice in whatever we do . It truly counts to be on the better side .

I apologise for being in a melancholic mood . But I am not being melodramatic , just reflecting and coming in good terms with life and God .

Before I forget , I am planning to buy one of my Idol's -- David Beckham's autobiography - My side . While browsing through the pages , I read about the significance of the number 7 . For those who want to know , the number 7 with latin inscription underneath means ' Perfectio In Spiritu ' ( spiritual perfection ) . Cool yet true .

A mental note : Must read up on Greek and Latin stuff :D .

Pictures taken at the backyard of Nimalen's house . I know that I look quite different from the other girls . Well , I don't wear traditional clothes for Diwali visitings but more to temples and prayer sessions only . Yes .. However , the cute lad in red was the saviour on that day . I couldn't resist the temptation . He was really hot and cute :P . Wow . How I wish I have a sibling of that age ( that is 9 ) !

I am down with severe stomach flu since sunday . This is the first time that I have to rely totally on medicines . Well I have to pop a pill into my mouth after every meals ! Imagine my dilemma . Perhaps , blessing in disguise ? However , I'm still against it . I missed my O levels ( retaking ) maths P1 due to it . Instantly , I got lots of messages and comments for my ' despicable behaviour ' . Well , people thought that I took a solid chance to miss the paper . I am sincerely regretting that miss . I know that it is not easy to accept my statement . I'll just assure you that I am stating the fact . Fact -- no room for the idea of possibilities .

This week's been great for me . I hung a lot with Subahan . He told me lots of interesting stuff . He gave me the room to think and reflect . Thanks to him that I got through an interview . He was practically my backbone for this week ! . He made sure that he had anti stomach flu medicines with him all the time ( for me ) . He told me how AJC is really like . Right beneath it's oh-so-mugging facade . AJC was my dream school since secondary school days . Haiz ..

We watched Exorcism of Emily Rose yesterday . I am so proud to confess that I was the braver one compared to the one who accompanied me . Well Subahan hid behind my bag most of the time . He was soo thankful that I brought a bag along too ! Haha . Ok . Thumbs up to the movie !
I was or still am so amazed at the acting of Jennifer Carpenter . She can really act very well . WOW !! I seriously wonder how she managed to get soo deep with her character . I am truly impressed . I can bet that she'll receive the best actress award !! SHE RAWKS !

The movie , like we all know , is based on a true story . Although they changed the real person's name , the cast's wonderful acting really painted a vivid image of the past happenings on the screen . The real person's name is Anneliese Michel . I really respect her . She is truly a saint ! Although some people ( especially the jury ) believe that Pastor Ernst Alt did commit manslaughter due to his negligence , I beg to differ . I truly believe life exist in the other realm . Anneliese was possessed by 6 demons . Soon , she begin to suffer a great deal as the demons started to gain control over her body . In actual life , she drank her own urine , she ate spiders , she broke 3/4 of her teeth biting onto ' unearthly ' stuff and etc . She really suffered a lot .

The most important question is , why was she chosen to be possessed by the demons ? According to the Pastor ( someone who knew her inside out and shared the same belief with her ) , she was like a typical teenager who was very religious . So the people who had known her were shocked by the possession of the 6 demons . After some time of great sufferings , Anneliese was on a field . She saw Virgin Mary and asked her " why was she possessed ... " The reply from the Superior was that she was the chosen one . Some one God chose to help people realise that demons exist . Virgin Mary then gave an option to go with her ; thus ending her sufferings or she can chose to return back to help people . What Anneliese chose to do really moved me . She chose to return back !!!! How much of courage and compassion she must've gotten !!! Soon , she received stigmata on her palms !! A true testament that proves that she was the chosen one .

I visited the Old Changi Hospital on Wednesday with Nimalen and Priveen . It was really freaky !! To make matters worse , when we were approaching Priveen's house , we saw 2 black cats that looks identical crossing out pathway ! A true case of Deja Vu . Haiz . God . May you be with us . Today was great . I was once again late . I was supposed to meet Shah at CCK at 11.30 am . I reached CCK at 12 nn . To my shock , Shah was still waiting for me !! . In fact , he told me that he arrived approximately at 11.50 am . Soon we both ended up waiting for that good'ol Sanjay .
Sanjay arrived at 12.15 nn . We realised that we were freaking late ( It was scheduled that we were to meet Nimalen at Northpoint at 12 nn ) .

We reached Yishun roughly at 12.40 ++ . Nimalen and Priveen ( with his brother - Dinesh ) were waiting for us . It was so cool .. =) . When I met Aghela , Theba and Debby , I had a shock . They were dressed in traditional indian outfit while I was wearing a tee and a skirt . Well soon I was ok with the shock ( Since the guys were not in traditional outfit too ) .

We met Usha Nanthini on the way to Nimalen's house . I was amazed at the surroundings . Then reality started to sink in . I realised that I was actually going to a semi-detached house !! . WOW !!
Nimalen's house was sooo god-damn big !! Seriously , wow .. it was really a big big house . We had his own garden and etc . Soon we had the insatiable desire to explore his house . He acted as the guide and ' toured ' us around his house .

I fall in love with Nimalen brother's room . WOW !! . Since Nimalen's bro is studying medicine , he had a more mature approach toward his room . The elegant curtains enhance the beauty of his room . His whole room was dark and mysterious loaded with medical books . I was truly astonished ! . I met lots of Nim's bro's RJC and NUS mates . Haiz ... how cool can that get ?

Ok . Lunch was superb . I savoured every nanosecond munching onto those wonddies . Nim was on extreme diet today ( I suppose ) , for 90% of his plate was full of veggies . We started to laze in Nimalen's room . Soon Nimalen opened the dance floor . Haha .. Had lots of fun dancing . Later I asked Nimalen the price of his house and he told me that his house cost 1.3 million !! Man !! It's soo cool to be rich

After that , Shah , Sanjay , Nimalen , Priveen & his brother Dinesh , Theba and I went to causeway point to paly pool . Theba left soon after our first game . I won Shah and Priveen . Lost to the pool aces Nimalen and Sanjay . However , I'm still proud of the fact that I was left with only 1 ball to strike .. ain't that cool ?? Only 1 ball against the aces !

After 2 hours , Shah and Sanjay left . Nimalen , Priveen , Dinesh and I went to back to Yishun to go to temple . Nimalen put the " Vilaku " and did his rounds around " sanniswaran " . After praying , we left home .

Tomorrow , Nimalen , Priveen , Dinesh , Sanjay and Shah are meeting at Sanjay's condo to play tennis . But the sad thing is , my relatives are coming to my house and later , I'll be going to Lali's house ..

Oh yeah . I did a good thing yesterday . I convinced He Shun that Harry Potter was indeed a superb story ( adding the books and movie ) . We decided to go for a Harry Potter movie marathon soon ( so that He Shun can understand ) . He Shun was so anti-Harry Potter . But after my convincing speech , he started loving Harry Potter . He is sooo excited to watch the new movie now !! ( This will only materialise after the HP movie marathon ) .

Before I leave ,

The main objective of an individual differs as they are created to structure new paths for the aspiring newbies . So no one have the right to deem another person's choice . I hope people start to realise this soon . Because from what I heard from someone , people who speak ill of retainees and people who were deemed to be failures still exist EVERYWHERE . So I am just giving an open warning , no such behaviour is tolerated by God . So if you think that you are doing any good by speaking ill of them , YOU BETTER WATCH OUT .. for God is still watching you and he's got powerful ears . You might be next !

Let's just promote peace ? Oh c'mon , let this world be a happy one for all of us . Thomas Alva Edison failed 1000 times before inventing light bulb . Like what Anonymous said " it doesn't matter if you retain or not .. but if you get it right this time " I truly salute you man !! . My goal is to get an A level's certificate . So it doesn't matter even if I retain or not . I've learned a lot this time round and I vow never to do the same mistake again .. I am speaking of my LATECOMING as well . There's no use crying for mercy . No more emotional ride . Just happiness . A big thanx to my lovely parents for backing me up . I really need you guys by my side . I am so happy that I've got parents who see right through me . I'll never embarass you again .

Alright peeps ; you guys out there might be wondering what was on my mind when I posted such an entry earlier . Well , Bon Jovi is truly an amazing musician . I love this wonderful song of his !! * Thumbs up * . Really inspirational lyrics and superb music .

Ok . Let me describe the horrible things that happened on the eve of Deepavali . Oh man . I started to clean the whole house at approximately 10 am . I had to resist the temptation of watching those wonderful programmes on TV . All I had to do was to just focus my mind on cleaning . Cleaning is certainly not my cup of tea ( i prefer tea to coffee ) . For the whole freaking first time in my life , I had to scrub the floor and the tiles .. Oh Man !! It is seriously spine-breaking !

However , I got that undescribable surge of satisfaction when I saw a clean house :) ( courtesy of Vitz ) . Oh yeah !! I forgot to add ; my parents were laughing at the way I was cleaning the house ! I really don't know why . Haiz !! After that , my mom and I went for last minute shopping to fulfil our unsatisfied thirst for new stuff ( clothes , etc ) . Upon reaching home , I got a call from my dear friend Silas ! . We arranged to meet at my LRT station to proceed to Uma's house .

Uma was soo happy when she saw Silas and me .. and even her Dog -- Bella , got excited !! . She started to sniff , pounce and scratch me . OMG !! I was totally petrified . Well I really love dog , but I cannot stand the way the pounce on people and start smelling them !! . Silas helped me to carry that Bella while , He Shun and I tried to enter the house . We ate well after that . While trying to throw away the leftover food , I saw Bella running towards me . Instantly , I chucked the plate on the sink , washed my hands clean and walked away briskly towards the hall . This time , Silas , He Shun and Uma were still at the kitchen .

All of a sudden , Bella stood on her hind legs and started to scratch my calves !!! I was wearing a skirt and OMG !!! I really got scared ... I was like cornered by a DOG ?!! Bella just sniff me again and ran away to the kitchen ... He Shun got shocked when he saw me staring at the wall .. Then I had to tell them what exactly happened . Soon , we watched " The Grudge " in Uma's comp . We made the room very dark ( we draw the curtains , close the door and etc ) .. We freaked out while watching that scary movie !!

Soon after , we went to Mount Alvernia ( I hope this is the spelling ) to visit Uma's nephew . Uma's brother became a father !! WOW ... should see a the big smile that was plastered onto his face !! He got soo worried at the slightest movements the baby made . HAHA ... It's was hilarious to see Viknes behaving like that . That baby was born on 31 Oct ( Halloween Baby ) . The baby was rosy in colour . Oh my gawd !! ... When I touched his cheeks .. Oh my god .. his cheeks were soooooooooooooo ultra soft ... just like the petals of a flower !! He was just a day old baby .. and he looked soooo cute !! Haha .. when Uma carried him , he tried to cough silently ... He was just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable !! Btw .. he is not named yet , thus I am calling him " the baby " . Haha ...

We returned back to Uma's house and had lotsa gossiping to do . I told them about my results and they didn't believe me at all !! I had to swear to gain their trust !! . They were very depressed for me ... Omg .. I am soo sorry guys !! . OK .. I went home at 11.30 pm that night .

Today , I went to Uma's house again ( with He shun and Silas ) . We watched Dodgeball and started to laugh our ass off !! After the movie , we vowed to rent movie with sexual content ONLY !! Hahaha ... .... Even the most conservative Silas was soo excited with our new agreement !!

Btw ... Happy Birthday to Morales . =D . Hey buddy miss you lots .. Miss your jokes and your crazy behaviour !! .

Ok . I made a major decision today . Haha ... For the hellava freaking 1st time , I've decided to work !! HAHA !!! Amazing right ??!! . I learnt from Silas that it was soo fun to work and spend your money !! So me and He Shun went to lotsa fast food restaurants to apply for job . HAHA .. We agreed to work from 8 am to 8 pm ... all for one reason !!! The reason is ....... BOXING DAY !!!!!!!!!!!! .... How can we forget our wonderful Boxing Day that we had last year ... We spent that entire night at Orchard !! It was a very beautiful night ...

He Shun and I decided to work to enjoy that day to the core !! Yeah baby !! We listed out our plan ... the meet at orchard at 4++ to catch any movie , then to take lotsa neoprints , then to walk to Clarke Quay and have our dinner ... and chill out the whole night !! Man ... He shun was sooo happy when I said this plan .. He was sooo happy that our Screaming Heads ( the family ) is going to celebrate the Boxing Day again !! The best thing is , I told the guys to wear long sleeve black shirt ... that stylish one ... ( crumpled one ) ... and to spike their hair ... while the gals will wear something hot on that day ... Well .. for that special day , all of us promised to spend $200 ... haha ... see why I wanna work ??!! WoooHoooo ... Since Silas is already working , He Shun and I planned to work ASAP .... Oh man ,.... We really wanna work ... we have lotsa things to buy ... New hp , Adidas stuff , MP3 player , guitar ..... the list goes on and on ... But the most important thing that I wanna buy is a gold chain for my mom !! :D ...

OK before ending this long entry , I just wanna tell that .. I am sooo happy that my parents are supporting me now . Although I know that they were very disappointed with my results , My dad encouraged me to " go for it " . I am certainly much more strong now !! Thanx to all those who helped me along the way .
