I'm incomplete without them .....




I've been channelled to experience another roller coaster ride in my life . On Tuesday , my dad woke up with chest pains and he went to the hospital . He was kept in the observation ward in Singapore General Hospital for 11 hours . Doctors told my dad that he had a heart attack - thus the reason for his chest pains . My dad came home around 1 am . I was still awake then . He didn't tell me anything .


This morning , my mom told me the bad news . Frankly , I faked a strong facade and retreated back to my room and cried my heart out . I mean , this is definitely not the time for such a thing to happen . I mean , I need my dad and can hardly imagine a life without him . I'm really not feeling good . But , after some consoling from Silas and Gayatri Devi , I felt better . I realise the importance of everything now . Afterall , there is a reason why I am the eldest . But I already made that pact . I need my dad to witness everything . I want to send him off as a happy man . So for now , I have decided to work my ass off and at the same time , force my dad to take his medicines . What's the point of living when you cannot make your parents happy ? . That has always been my outcry and I shall show what it means to make them happy .


Till then , all I ever ask You is to protect him , make sure he stays with me to witness everything . I really need him by my side . And yes , I will have to force myself to not shed tears infront of him but rather to channel them into something else that would make him happy . Please be with me God .

Alright . We got 11th out of 18th . I am really happy with the results . For a first timer , it isn't bad . Although I had different aim , this position is really good .


Anyways , sadly , I dislocated my knee 2 days before Danz Arena Y2K8 . I was teaching them a step and my knee snapped . It was so loud that people who were standing at the back - Prithika and Vicky heard it . Infact , my whole dance mates heard it snap . I mentioned that my knee was going to stumble soon in my previous entry and I guess it happened . Anyway , I taped my knee tightly and used my knee guard for the dance .


While dancing , my knee snapped . I felt it giving way . The pain was unbearable but I knew that I had to go on . So after our last pose , I had trouble getting up and the muscles around my knee got numb . Somehow the day went well .


I am not blowing my own trumpet here and I am really happy with the outcome and the aftermath of the dance . 3 dance groups called me to dance for them for Dhool 08 . Parthiben is persistently calling me to dance for Devanaz for Dhool 08 . As much as I really want to dance , I can't . I have my A levels to focus on . Damn . And I received absolutely good comments for our costume and song selection . I mean , I don't wish to boast but I swear that I didn't know that I was capable of doing all this . I mean I have the passion for dance . But this song piece was like a dream song . I spent 2 days coming up with it and I am really happy when people liked it . Also , I designed the costume and chose the colour . Many agreed that the costumes matched our dance and theme . I am really happy with all these comments . Thanks guys and special thanks to my darling dance members for following my lead . Thanks guys :) .

It attached to the back to make my hair look curly and long . Honestly it was heavy ! I couldn't do my steps at ease due to the weight of the wig . But then again , I salute Menaga for doing an awesome job !
