A tremendous effort to re-energise the spirits . But the doubt still lingers . Well , the intentions are downplayed in the most subtle way . In a less subtle way , I confess that I'm thinking alot about George Sampson ; such spirits should be remembered , respected and followed .

That's my darling brother - Sathian . I'm so proud of my darling Policeman . My brother's climbing the ladder of success with his commitments and dedication for those greater good causes . My brother - regardless of being a cadet recruit , will be marching during the NDP 2008 . He'll be carrying the rifle and march through the entire prestigious NDP progression . And I've got another happy news to share ( I don't know if I had mentioned this earlier ) . Like how OCS is the highest rank/posting in Army , SOC is the highest in Police . My darling brother's instructors have recommended him and he will be attending an interview for SOC . I am really really proud of my darling brother . He had always love the regimental lifestyle and now I really hope the best for him . Oh , my darling brother even had the chance to challenge his superior at one occassion .

Apparently their PT instructor challenged those guys . That instructor challenged those guys that he can do more physical exercises than those recruits . And if any recruit were to beat his mark , they are allowed to eat at the Cafe . So the PT instructor did 14 pull ups and the recruits tried their best to beat his mark . All the recruits did up to 11-12 pull ups and couldn't exceed the superior's mark . It was my brother's chance to beat the superior . As my brother loves challenges , he actually did 15 pull ups and beat that superior . He told me that he could actually do more pull ups but he decided to stop at 15 as he already beat that superior . I was sooooo proud of him when he told me that . I know that my brother is good in sports too but I never thought that he was that strong . I know I am dumb . He was selected to attend PES A - the fittest of the lot to be in NS . OMG , my brother rocks la . Seriously I am super proud of him . Go brother !!!

Ok . I am really tempted to join Dhool . I have many friends asking me why Maniac Flamerz aren't joining Dhool . I did give them my reply . It's just not because of my study commitments that I am not joining Dhool . I've got other reasons too . But I am really tempted to join Dhool . The prospect of joining Dhool is fucking irresistable . But then again , I've got to let this one go for now . Argghh . Painful sacrifice there .

Alrighty , on the other hand , I am half way through Paulo Coelho's " 11 minutes " . Although it's definitely not my type of book , I've grown to love it to bits . I love books that sets one thinking . Frankly I adore Paulo Coelho . I have his " The Alchemist " with me . But I so wanna purchase his " Veronika decides to die " , " The Zahir " , " Like the flowing river " and " the witch of Portobello " . " 11 minutes " is teaching me alot of new ideas and new stuff . Now , I owe a thanks to Shankari ( Njc ) for introducing that book to me . Dearest SHC , you've got good taste .

Anyways , I've been meeting alot of thinkers and they've been making my life alot more interesting . In the best words of a dearest mate : to add sugar and spice . I'm enjoying it . What can be ever more interesting that chalking up an intellectual conversation over a cup of Starbuck's delights ? . I mean conversations of that sort and always go beyond coffees . I mean we do continue in conferences too . Haha . Funny .

Come 12th july - exactly a week to Dance Arena , I'll be busy with my Godbrother Logesh's sister's 21st . I'm currently appointed as the event co-ordinator with Vicky Cookie . Cookie is also the MC while Nesh and Paul are helping out with the music/sound system . Pravin , Gayatri Devi and Vicky Puppy will be singing , while Cookie , Nesh and I will be performing . Cool ain't it ? .

Anyways , I'm left with 1 week of holidays before Mid year exams sets in . I am really not prepared . Shit .
