Happy New Year to one and all . I had a marvellous kick-start to 2008 . " Fallen flowers can't climb back . So don't think of the past , love the present and live with the future " .


I went over to Kristin's house at around 9.30 pm and we started to do some reflections . At around 11.58 pm , we held hands and prayed . After that we countdown-ed to 2008 . After wishing each other , I sucked on my Pure Caramel while Kristin sucked on her Iced chocolate . In short we had fun . I left her house at around 12 30 pm . After that I had some stuff to do . Eventually , I slept off at around 4.45 am .


Anyways , today i received a letter from the National Organ Transplant Unit . The opening words to the letter went something like this :- " Congratulations ! You will soon be turning 21 years old . This will , no doubt , be a major milestone in your life . With your coming of age , you will fall within the age group of Singapore Citizens and Premanent Residents covered by the Human Organ Transplant Act ( HOTA ) " .


So basically , I can pledge my organs for transplantation after my death . Most of you'll would've guess which option I chose in the end . Yes . I pledged my organs for transplantation , treatment , research and education purposes . My Dad was not too pleased with my decision . He was quite against it . I managed to talk to him and finally he agreed . Well , last year I did a research on Xenotransplantation and I realised that there were millions dying of organ failure and organ transplantation failure . So yes . Anyways Silas said he really thinks that it was a very "matured decision " and apparently many people wouldn't pledge their organs for transplantation after their death . Hmm coolio .


Anyways , 10 more days for me to turn 21 !! Man , this is fast .
