Good day peeps . I've been feeling really cold ...


Suddenly this gust of wind shook the shit out of the habitués of the night study programme . That gust of wind certainly made me think alot today . I was thinking so much that I decided to leave early . Well , my train was thoughts were beginning to accumulate .. well they still do . Reflections .


Anyways , Ms Ong , the PE teacher and a devout christian decided to check on us . I was doing my Economics when I heard her say " Hey Vithiya , how's it going " . I just muttered a distant " hmm ok-ok " . I guess that she realised that something was wrong and so , she sat infront of me and we started to chat . I told her about my dilemma - the hard fact ( and of course , the undeniable truth ) of myself hanging by a thread . I told her about my maths . And she told me this .


" You have created a mental block which prevents you from liking maths . It's like as though , you are driving a car with the brakes on . Remove the brakes and guess what , the journey will be smooth ".


That definitely made me realise things . I've created a barrier that blocks me from achieving what I've always wanted to achieve - a decent grade for Maths . I'm soo scared . It's about time now . Professor KC once told me that " Time equals to money " . I've wasted too much of it . I need to recover soon . I need to start loving maths . I NEED !! * Grrr * . Thank God , I've got a blog to vent my frustrations .


A sensible remedy for the wounded soul - I propose . I need to envisage a life that's at it's peak . A probable and feasible solution I presume . God !!


TOUCH RUGBY


Well , this season , I've been selected to be in the Touch Rugby group for PE . Well , I know that it's not going to be that competitive and hey , it's like a dream come true . Hehe . I've always harboured a secret penchant for touch rugby . Actually to put it blatantly , I've always wanted to join CONTACT rugby . Yes , contact . I don't know why , but I love to get injured . Well , please , nothing like my knee injury of course . But you know , injuries like , a blow to your face , bruised eye , broken nose , a myriad of scratches on your face and body .. and so on . It's this satisfaction you get when you see those injuries after the game/match .


When I was in hockey , I used to toss and turn in bed , unable to sleep . I was carrying bumps on my legs , head and arms . I've always loved those moments . Well , once , this girl whacked me hard on my head during this hockey B division match . I was bleeding badly . All my coach did was to bandage my head and put me into the game again . I was feeling extremely good , playing with a bandaged head .


Sometimes , those injuries help to define a true sportsman/woman ( i'm using singular term here for a specific reason ) . To me , it's natural to carry injuries in a sport . True sportsman/woman care a shit about injuries . Well , I'm like that . I don't believe in restricting myself from playing just because of injuries . But I really hate long-term injuries that threaten your style of play and hinders your performance in a game . But what can we do ?? . Shut up and go for the op , right ?. Ok . I shall .


Meanwhile , I'm serious with Touch Rugby ( I'm still faithful and loyal to floorball of course ) . I want to see my team win . We're going to start playing by Thursday . I hope that I'll recover from my current injuries in due time . Please . And Fareez darling , proposed that we play touch on saturdays . Well , I certainly WANT .. hmm ok I NEED ! .


CIP CAMBODIA


Anyway , Patrick and Gang did a presentation on their CIP trip to Cambodia . Well , I was impressed by their attempts in early May to raise funds to rebuild a school and built a new road for the Cambodians . I remembered running after them to give them my share of donation . Well , I don't know why , but I really support their idea of building a new road for them . Really . The current road is super inaccessible . And if i'm not so sure , students who walk to school , certainly have a tough time when it rains . So yes .


After presenting , Patrick delivered a superb quotation that he heard from one of the Cambodians .


" When there is comfort , there is no growth . When there is growth , there is no comfort " . So simple yet succint .


How true . I really want to develop into a better person . I need to channel my energy into rectifying my own errors and mistakes . I so need to . I want to transform my weakness into my strengths . I want to live life to the fullest . I want to help the less-fortunate . I want to see my friends climb the ladder of success . I want to fulfil the task that God has set upon me to accomplish . I want to die without regrets . I want to be remembered for my good deeds . We're all God's children . I want to see Him , I want to be touched by his angels . I want to .........


Enough I suppose . But I really want to go to Cambodia in December . I hope I can . Oh yes , the rainy season have proved to be the most propitious time to reflect eh ? . God bless the souls :)
