I know that it has been a long time since I last blogged . I'm really busy with my work . I managed to celebrate my bestfriend's birthday admist this heavy work load . Proud of myself .

25th November
My bestfriend and soulmate's birthday . Wilson Silas David . He turned 19 after a looooooong time . I invited quite a number of people but only a few turned up . Shafie , Pravin , Maslinda , Uma , He shun , James and Pravin invited his friend Navin to join us too . Most of my friends had work or school and were not able to grace this occasion . But nonetheless we did it well enough to surprise him .
We blindfolded him and brought him to a sheltered place . Everyone waited there with the cake and etc . When I removed the blindfold , Silas was soo shocked ! . He was thinking that only Uma , Heshun and I will be there and taada--- haha ! .
We sabo-ed Silas with Komala Vilas's Curry , Sambar , Chutney , CHilli sauce , our cake remains and etc . After that , we were pushing each other into the water . The guys carried and later on threw me into the water . Oh man . Swimming with them was great .
Suddenly Mr Pravin had a silly idea to fold a wrestling match in the water . Shafie carried me and Pravin carried James and we had a wrestling match . James pushed me twice into the water . I only managed to push him once . *Sad*
After swimming , we went to change . Soon we decided to go to Bedok to have our dinner . Before going to Bedok , Uma and Heshun went to 7-11 to buy Vodka . I forgot what was it's name . But it was really nice . I think it was flavoured with green apple . It's been such a long time since I tasted Vodka .
After dinner , we went home .

My work
I really got to say this out . I really enjoy working in Borders . The night crew peeps are soo fun to hang out with . On my first day of work , Izzah and I were introduced to Wafi and Lucy . Both of them are nice and friendly . Soon , a few guys ( who looked like as though they were from some korean band ) joined us . All of them had long hair . Izzah and I were laughing and mocking at these guys . Little did I know , they turn out to be such great gentlemen ! . So working with them is really fun .
Izzah worked on Sat and I was scheduled to work on Sun . That was our Overtime . I was doing Kids recovery with Sukmajaya , Vincent , Fern and Lucy . Wafi and Zul were doing the Gen Rec . During our break , we decided to head to the Mac . Ate to our heart's content . Soon we started to crap and joked until we reached Borders .
Anyways Pravin is quitting his job on Thursday . I'll miss him . Sharil came over to me with a sad face and asked " Are u going to quit ? John is quitting rite ? Hey don't quit-ah ! Plz-ah " . He was so adorable . But no , I'm not going to quit soon although this night shift has made me into a night owl .
Working with Hadi , Wafi , Lucy , Fern , Zheng Han , Sukma , Vincent , Fang , Zul , Darren C , Darren , Sharil , Mei Lian and others is sooooooooooooooo fun . Peeps , Borders is not a bad place to work afterall ...

Anyways , I might not be free to blog as often cos my job is from 10pm - 7am . I'll be sleeping from 9am to 6pm . Then get ready for work . See .. I'm busy . So the Night Owl and the Vampire's insatiable thirst will have to wait . But not fade ;) .

Anyways , I had floorball match with OSB youth yesterday . We won 10-8 . Bobbie got so worked up when he saw all those chiobus and soon go on to score 4 goals . I scored one goal and missed many shots . Haha . Sians . After that Dearest Tahka accompanied me to Suntec to collect my Race Package . My race package looks cool . Weeeeeeee . Adidas singlet . WOW !!! . Anyways I'll be running 21KM on the 3th of dec . Please pray for me . Haha . I think I might drop dead at the finish line . Haha .

Our Boxing day will be postponed to a different day as Silas cannot get off . We decided to hold it at Jack's Place . So we'll catch a movie , go to Jack's Place for a rich dinner and then walk to Clark Quay and go drinking . * I can't wait * .

Oh yes , my cousin's getting married on Dec 23th . Haha . Even more excited for that .

I'll be getting a bursary award for doing well . Hehe . I'll be getting extra $300 .. woooooo . That's nice . $300 together with my salary ... woah ...

A special apology to Chun Leng for not being able to come and support him at MOS . His band will be performing on the 5th . I'll be busy working and thus cannot go . Sad ...

Anyways , I heard from someone that I'm being mistaken for something . I don't even have time for myself and I cannot imagine myself from hopping from blog to blog to tag on people's tagboards . So if that person got some brains , then that person should know . Anyways I think I got better things to do than to go on and tag . Oh c'mon man ...
The worse thing is , I cannot even believe that that someone can push the blame to me . Well I agree that I despise that person but I'm not that childish enough to tag !! Oh god !! . Stop trying to act saint by pushing the blame to others . Just

The Vampire's insatiable thirst
The constant feeling of insecurity had a palpable effect on the Vampire . As much as it seem to
draw close , there still exist the thin line . Without doubt , the search is almost over . But has its sins been purged ? The Vampire is crying day and night for that one last favour . But , unknown to it , the looming silence that beholds the truth is breaking free from the Stranger's tight grasp . Shall we all bask into the corner and look up to the sun .... for the future seems distant ....

Woah . Been absent from the virtual world for quite some time I suppose . Ha . So what do you guys reckon ? I miss my online portal . Maybe , I owe my fellow "Stuby" a huge apology . Anyways , life is going on at a faster pace than I expected . Ha . My last year as a teenager ....

Back from SLE camp . In short it was absolutely mind-blowing .

DAY 1 :
Met Regina Fluckiger and went to school with her . Our huge bags created tremendous obstruction in the bus . I pity my fellow passengers . When I reached school , I came to know that I was dispatched to group 3 . The truth was , I didn't know a single one of them . I was really depressed . Most of my classmates were with people they know and all . I was with strangers in short . I was feeling grumpy and sulked throughout my journey to Bartley campus .
When we reached Bartley Campus , my feelings changed . Well that campus has a preponderant place in my heart . I've actually grown up there . No kiddings . I've been there since Sec 1 for all my B division Floorball matches . Woah I miss Bartley man .
I sat with my groupmates . Played Ice-breaker . And got to know their names
Sylvia , Vicky , Astha , Amina , Jolene , Arnina , Jonathan Liautrakul , Jyssica , Chu Ting and Swee Wan . HAHA . Infact , we emerged as the loudest group !! We were super noisy and all .
I even tried to pull their legs and infact I succeeded .

Groupmates : What combination do you take in Toh Tuck ?
Others : Hmm H2 Chem , H2 Physics ........ etc .
( Suddenly I came in and said )
Vitz : Heya guys , I take H2 Higher Language
Groupmates : HUH !!???!!! *Puzzled *
Vitz : Well , I took German Studies at O levels and got A1 you see .. So now , I'm taking H2
German .
Groupmates : WAHHHHHHHHH !!!!!! YOu damN SmarT one Eh !!!
Vitz : Well .. I guess you guys were too gullible laa . Just Joking !! :P

Another Incident

Groupmates : Wah lau !! I damn hungry siaaaaaa
Vitz : Me too :( . Hey guys .. you know what , I overheard the instructors talking and I heard them say that our lunch is from Muthu's Curry .
Groupmates : WAHHHH !!! POWER !!!! YUMMY !!!!
Vitz : Aiyoh .. just joking laaaaa !! :P

On Day 1 itself , we bonded so well . So , it was really "happening la " .
Well , as I believe , most of you'll would've known that the entire campus took place at Changi Coastal Adventure Centre . The (flight) landing area was right beside our base . So we constant caught sight of planes flying less than 100M over our heads . Isn't that cool ? . So I didn't really sleep on the first day . Kristin Hamton and I planned to stay up the whole night to watch the planes and talk . Well , I tried to NOT sleep but .. couldn't . My eyelids were very heavy . While sleeping , suddenly Kristin shook me and said " Vithiya !! PLANE PLANE !! " . I was still half awake and I actually ran out of the room to watch the SIA's plane . Then I mumbled something and walked like a drunkard to my sleeping bag . Astha( letchumi ) and Vicky accidentally headbanged each other and twitched in their sleep . Kristin and I watched the plane till 2am . Then I decided to hit the sack and slept almost instantly . It seems Kristin slept at 4 am only .

Day 2
Amina woke me up at 5am . Vicky , Asthaletchumi and I planned to wake up at 5 to hit the showers . The morning dew was still evident and it was eerily chilly . When the "hard " cold water came gushing down from the shower head , I really thought that I was going to die of hypothermia . Haha . It was that freaking cold . Haha . I was shivering while bathing . After doing my stuff , I rushed to my bunk and reported to the reporting area . We did the high rope element first . I've got a slight phobia for heights ( it's actually the speed together with the height ) . There was this high rope element thingy in which we were supposed to walk on a thin wire that was 40 feet up holding onto 5 ropes that were about 3-4 metres apart . Before I tried it , I thought I was going to fall off the wire and die ( well we had harness on ) . But shockingly , I did the fastest . Ms Lim even quipped " Wah break record " . That Astha monkey even said " You don't look like got phobia of heights " . By the way , both of us got phobia of heights and we actually overcame our fear . SO FEAR IS NOT A FACTOR FOR US !!! . After that , we did other high rope elements , abseiling and rockclimbing . I chose the toughest spot to do my rockclimbing . Just wanted to add some thrill . Infact I did it the fastest & reached the top . Man .. I love that camp .
After the high rope element , we did rafting and kayaking . Since I was afraid of deep waters , I decided to pair up with a guy - so I paired up with Swee Wan . Haha . Infact we held hands during the trial PFD period . He really helped me . Kudos to him . Our raft was successfully floating on the waters . The naughty instructors brought us to the middle of the sea . Woah .. It was scary but fun .
Next up , I paired with Swee Wan again . He sat at the back and I at the front . We kayak-ed reallly fast and reached the middle of the sea the fastest . So I took the lead to assemble the others to my side . Then this crazy instructors forced us to stand on our kayak . My knees were trembling as I was so uncertain of the impending doom that lied before me . Soon , Astha fall into the water and I got scared . But she remained calm and got up the kayak as soon as possible . Thank God that it started to rain heavily . So we scrapped off the kayaking sessions from the standing-on-the-kayak attempt and rowed really fast to reach the shore . It was really raining cats and dogs ( or in Adib's term : Raining Rhinos and Hippos ) . Then lightning appeared almost simultaneously . We had to run out in the rain to collect the kayaks from the shore . We helped each other . It was really fun getting wet in the rain . But I was quite afraid of the lightning that kept saying " Hello " in its thunderous voice .
After that we had campfire . Instructors Taufik and Polar were adorable . Mr Ram was cute too .

Day 3
Amina , Vicky and Astha said they were not going to wake up early . So I asked Suhaila to wake me up at 6 am . When I woke up , I saw Kristin sleeping soundly beside me . Haha . Then I rushed to bathe again . Came out shivering and did my stuff .
We were assigned to do area cleaning . Vicky , Astha , Jonathan , Chu Ting and Jyssica were in my group and we did cleaning so thoroughly that even an old uncle claimed that " wah .. so clean .. our future leaders sure keep Sinngaporeee cleee-an ahhh " Haha . After that we departed , hugged my mates , got their msn and friendster constant but kept that memories tightly enclosed in my head .

My Reflections :

1) Don't judge a book by its cover .
I thought my group was going to be boring but .. man .. we were the craziest group .

2) Kristin Hamton is afraid of ghost . Haha . I can still remember what she did to "warn-off" spirits .

3) I kicked both Kristin and Astha while sleeping . ( I was sleeping in between Astha and Kristin while vicky slept beside Astha ) . Haha .

4) Vicky snores and can sleep like a tow-kay .

5) I've finally made friends with Jonathan Liautrakul . He even agreed to join our study group . Haha . Sharif .. see I won . :D

6) Jonathan Liautrakul is a good artist . Oh man . His drawings looks like as though he printed it ... OH man he rocks !

7) Kristin , Vicky , Astha and I can gossip quite well .

8) Kristin can speak tamil when she's with Indians . :P

9) I'm eagerly waiting to be merged . So that I can be closer to my floorball hommies and other bartley friends .

Anyways guys , I think , on a final note , I've got to say this out . I thank God for giving every human being the power to retain memories . Although we can never change back time to savour all those we loved in the past , we can do so by revisiting those memories . Lets all pledge to have colourful memories . Life is beautiful . Don't hate it . Love it and embrace it .

Oh yes . I've officially started working at Borders . So don't get shock when you see me in Orchard ya ! Haha . Pravin started earlier and so he is doing customer service and ends work at 2 pm . Izzah and I joined later and we're doing Shelving and we start work from 8am to 4 pm . But this Thursday , we got night shift .. 11pm to 7am . Haha . It's going to be fun . Training today was so fun . I didn't know that my Sayang Hidz was going to train with me as well . Kelvin , Hafeez , Sufiyan , Hidz , Labina , Riah , Jane , Vaneesa , Izzah and I started training today and had so much of fun . Only Jane and Vanessa don't belong to MI but they did mingle well with us . Hidz , Hafeez , Sufiyan , Kelvin , Izzah and I went to makan at Far East . Haha . Damn Fun . Sufiyan can eat slow . So he's my good ol' buddy from now . Haha .

Working is fun but tiring . Oh man . But look , we'll get paid . Yipee !! Boxing day this year's going to be a blast . Watch out my fellow Screaming Heads . Btw my soulmate and bestfriends Wilson Silas David is going to NS . I'm utterly sad . Who can I complain to now ? Haiz .
