Motivation as subtle as it sounds , comes in handy most of the time . As such , I do need one , right now .

Well , I shall start with sharing some news with you'll . So much for being my dedicated reader .

Well , I am now the CAPTAIN for my beloved Girl's Floorball Team . It came as a complete shock to me . I was feeling totally reluctant to accept that post . Well , this only my teammates will understand why . Anyways , like the saying from Spiderman goes " With power comes great responsibility " . Yes . This is sooo true .

Well , but I am not afraid . I've got my Vice-Captain Rury Narita by my side . My partner in crime and everything else . In addition , I've got great friends as teammates . So what can possibly dampen my spirit ? I can just kick all the obstacles that comes by my way .

So , as the Captain of my team , I can assure everyone out there that we'll stand by each other till the end and not leave the court without a hard fight . This I promise you .

Looks like I've got to miss my Economics paper . Haiz . Anyway the Semi Finals and Finals will be held on 12th and 13th for girls and guys respectively .

Ok . Yesterday , Shafie and I went to Thrill Nite 2006 to support Pravin . I saw all my buddies there . Phew . Sensors 11 and AcidHouz rocked the stage . As an avid AcidHouz supporter -- erm erm mainly because of 1 person only ( haha ) , I was sooo amazed to see their outstanding creativity being exposed on stage . Wow . Well done . Pravin did very well too . Am proud of you laa bestie .

Oh well , I'm coming in terms with hard-smacking reality . The long-( but never lasting ) holiday is over !! . Wow . Those relaxing moments just zoomed by . What is this ? . So unproductive I've been that I am shivering with the prospect of every negative thought that is swirling in my head . Oh My Blueberry .

Hmm . Forged close bonds with a lot of people . My class's prayer group is rocking my socks . We met at Regina's house and had a perfectly great day . Honestly , this is the type of bond forged so close and precious that you will not let anything happen to it .

I can't help it but notice that people with the same type of character flock together . Bitches with bitches and so on . ( Do I have to elaborate a lot on it ? ) . * chuckles *

Did I mention - My Diploma groupmates are soo cute and funny . Haha . Firdaus Khan is very naughty . Whenever I do my presentation , he does all sort of facial gestures . He is really a monkey ! . Meng Hong and Stephen ( my classmates as well ) are superbly childish and very naughty ! . They play hide and seek with me ! . Meng and I pushed Stephen into a cupboard and locked him . After a while , we opened it to see what Stephen was doing and to our shock , we saw that he was fast asleep . Haha . All this lau Pa Sat , Old Chang Kee and Coffeeshop trips are more than just memories to me .

Ok . I tried to have a few productive days by agreeing to study with Izzah , Rury , Sharifa ( Tahka ) , Jane and Amanda . But .. haha .. well as you can see the naughty ones in the same group , do you think we'll study ? . Oh good guess . No of course we didn't !! . Haha . We ended up eating and talking . Rury and I went around Orchard singing while Izzah and Sharifa walked behind us pretending not to know us . Haha . Oh god . I love them man . They are just tooo naughty to handle .

Cup Of Life . Well it definitely is something very scared and precious for all athletes . It's something that you fight hard for . Something that you will tear , bleed and sweat for . Salute sports . Well , being a sportsman is the greatest achievement in a man's life . Being an athlete is a honour . So precious it is that as being a sportsman , we should all embrace it and respect it at all cost . Apart from those who disgrace sports in the name of performance-enhancing drugs , we should all give our utmost support to all sportsmen out there . Hail sports !

Ok . World cup fever is here ! . Well it has almost burnt a big hole in my dad's pocket . Ha ! . Well I forced him to put the World Cup Premium channels ( 27 , 28 , 110 & 111 ) . Sorry dad . I can't resist soccer . Wooo . The opening match was great . Oh well did I say who I am supporting ? . Haha ok . I'm rooting for Germany & England . But I am gonna root for Ronaldhino to emerge as the Hero for his world cup . He is definitely the best player in this world cup . The Bobby Carlton , Maradonna & Pele of this generation ! .

Ok . Germany won 4-2 in the opening match against Costa Rica . Germany's Philip Lahm , Torsten Frings and Bastian Schweinsteiger were superb ! . In fact the latter was totally playing the most instrumental role in the game . Well done Germany . But I am also disappointed on the other hand . I don't understand why Jens Lehmann got selected as the first choice keeper instead of Oliver Kahn ! . I think Kahn's the best keeper in the world man ! Even my mom adores Kahn .

Well Costa Rican players had good physique . I don't know if it was the cause of their tight-fitting jersey , but they all look well-built . Paulo Wanchope was the most dangerous player in the opening match . He had that predatory instinct that is absolutely crucial for all strikers ! Ha . He scored 2 goals -- faking the German keeper twice ! . Good one laa Wanchope !

Ok . England Vs Paraguay match was a total disappointment . I cannot believe that England couldn't score against Paraguay . In fact they were lucky to have an own goal . Crouch was a total fool in that game . He seemed to have lost his game sense ! . Michael Owen , Frank Lampard , Joe Cole and Steven Gerrard were the best players in that game . Crouch should've been substituted with Downing . I don't understand why Sven chose to replace Owen with Downing . Haizz . The worse thing of all , England Captain - David Beckham can blame the Frankfurt heat for their lethargic play . Oh c'mon . England .. enough of the excuses . You guys have the best finishers , so make use of them !

Paraguay's Nelson Valdez is really good man ! . I hope Manchester United will buy him . Wanchope and Valdez are 2 of the wonderful strikers whom I've set my eyes on ! . Hehe . They should play for those teams man ! . I love Valdez's pace . He is sooo fast and really skilful . He totally reminded me of the way Zidane play . He faked 2 England defenders and went for the shot only to be blocked by the ace keeper - Robinson .

I totally love the Sweden Vs Trinidad and Tobago match . The best match I've seen since world cup begin ! . Sweden were totally aggressive in their attack and Trinidad and Tobago were extremely focussed in clearing the ball . Their defence was solid . In fact , many people thought that the Swedes can easily defeat the Trinidadians ... but they were proved wrong ! Haha . All the arm-chair critics would immediately say that Trinidad & Tobago had 11 men ( ok .. 1 got red carded so that wil be 9 - excluding the Keeper ) defending ! . But that was a very good match ! . Zlatan Imbrahimovic , Freddie Ljungberg and Marcus Allback were so determined to score but Trinidadian Goalie Hislop was good . Kudos to him ! .

Btw , I really think Sweden's Niclas Alexandersson is hot ! .. Woah .. He is sooo cute ! .

I really hope that Rooney will recover soon and England would be better at attacking . And please , change the German Keeper leh ! . I really want Oliver Kahn ! . The captain of all German's heart . Ok . Ivory Coast and Trinidad and Tobago will be in the limelight soon . They have a good team this year . I hope they will get into the quarterfinals . All the best .

Anyways . Today's title is " The spirit within will never falter " . Sounds absurd ? Or maybe too subtle for the minds of the those who know nothing but just innocence ? Oh well , the latter is definitely an understatement . Ha . People who belong to the cosmopolitan Singapore being innocent ? . Ok , I've got no comments whatsoever .

Well . I got injured - Yet Again ! . Had a good training yesterday . Well amidst all the hype to the prelude of the match , I decided to stay calm yet unleash what I've got . My first attempt got shortlived when I was tripped by an opponent . Well It was a bad fall . Even Izzah was like " Oh man .. the way u fall ah ... I can see that it was very bad " . So injuries sustained : Sprained wrist , swollen elbow and hips . Maybe that was a sign for me to stop playing . But I hecked it . Can you believe it ? I mocked upon at the most hilarious of reasons presented before me to stop playing .

So I continued . After that , I twisted my knee again . This time round , I felt my entire knee joint ( or whatever it is called ) simply moving out of place . My knee went numb as I was wriggling with pain . Wooo . Oh well , initially tears welled up my eyes and I started to feel frustrated at my way my knee controlled my life . Was totally down until Bridget Darling spoke to me over the phone .

Felt a bit better when she spoke to me . She said " don't let your knee control your life ! . You are the Vitz I know who will not give up easily " . That made sense . So I wiped my tears and went to Orchard with Izzah and Priya . We ate BBQ Squid !! Oh man , the taste was extremely succulent . I was savouring every second . Wow .

While walking - ok limping back home , I was reflecting on a lot of stuff . Ok . Like what My very own Saviour said " You know yourself well . You know who you are . Every injury and every fall would mould you into a better player . He who cries at his setback is the one who fails , but He who laughs at his setbacks and resolve to work hard and eventually win the race , emerges as the WINNER ! . " . Ain't that true ? . In fact , my Saviour has a " so what " approach in life . Eg . So what if I get an injury ? So what if I fail ? . The only thing that makes a difference would be your mentality to bounce back .

Like what I say , I will work hard . In fact I've resolved to come back stronger and better . Floorball is my passion and therefore , I will not let go of my passion . Gone are the days when I used to cry over my petty injury . Now , I've changed . Actually I've matured . Thanx to my Saviour . I really love my Saviour . My Saviour is definitely my mentor and I thank God to have given me this opportunity to meet my Saviour .

Ok . Did I mention about something ? . Well as the Female Representative of my beloved MI floorball team , I've promised someone that my team ( also meant MY SCHOOL ) will never leave the court without a hard fight . This is the assurance I give to all the competitors . We'll fight hard and even if it means lose , lose with dignity . Go Go GO MI !!! . I've resolved to inspire my Team to scale over greater heights . So team , let's just kick some asss ... yeah ? .

Anyways . The most important thing is , I am a christian now . I did the salvation prayers on 21st of may at the Bethal Assembly of Gods . Now i'm glad that I can reach out to Jesus . Carolyn , Meng Hong , Pravin and I decided to attend Regina's church and we totally enjoyed it . Thanks a lot Regina Fluckiger .

Ok . MI Carnival was fun . Met most of my dearest PAE buddies . In fact I was practically showing off my school to Silas and He Shun . Haha . To our pleasent surprise Shachin-O was there too . Bought a crayfish home too . In short , MI Carnival was Good .

Oh well . How can I forget about my tiring Big walk ? . Initially , Suhaila , Annas , Fad and I decided to stroll the entire 10km . But suddenly , Fad and I realised that even the aged overtook us !! So we started to walk really fast and thus ran the 10km ! . Wooo it was soo cool . Met Bao Heng and the other guys at the finishing point . Wooo . Totally cool !

Ok . Then on the 27th of May , Regina , Carolyn , Aziziah , Karpagam , Menaga , Govan , Chun Chen , Stephen , Meng Hong , Shafi and I attended Pravin's brother's wedding . Oh man . It was excellant . I simply fell in love with the food . Ha ! . Pravin was looking extremely different . With spiked up greyish hair and grand suit .. wooo .. Haha . Ok . After the wedding , Regina , Carolyn , Chun Chen , Meng Hong , Stephen and I hung out at Orchard . Ha ! Remember , the night is young ( Amirul's tag line ) .

Ok peeps . I shall end this post like that . A lot of things happened but I'm just too lazy to blog all of them . Ha . But .. I shall just post pictures to show them all .. Yeah . Rock on .
